          <datacite:description xml:lang="ja" descriptionType="Abstract">海溝型の巨大地震によって長周期地震動が発生し，その地震動を受けた超高層建物は長時間、大振幅で揺れる可能性が指摘されています。長周期地震動を受けて長時間揺れる超高層建物の室内において、家具什器は居住者に対する凶器と化すことが危惧されます。以上のことを背景にして、長周期地震動による超高層建物の応答を再現し、室内の危険性を総合的に検証することを目的として、Ｅ－ディフェンスを用いた実大規模実験を実施しました。超高層建物の上層階で生じる大振幅床応答を再現するため、5層鉄骨試験体の下に積層ゴムによる揺れの増幅装置を2層にわたって組み込ました。住居と事務所等の室内環境を忠実に再現し、震動台に東南海・南海地震において想定されている人工波を入力しました。その結果、システムキッチン・リビングやオフィスシステム等における危険性や耐震対策の効果を検証できました。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">It has been noted that long-period seismic motion can be generated by a huge subduction-type earthquake, and that high-rise buildings that are subjected to this seismic motion may sway for a long time with large amplitude. It is feared that furniture and fixtures in the rooms of high-rise buildings swayed may become weapons against the occupants. With the above in mind, a full-scale experiment was conducted using E-Defense with the aim of reproducing the response of high-rise buildings to long-period seismic motion and comprehensively verifying the danger of indoor spaces.In order to reproduce the large-amplitude floor response that occurs on the upper floors of high-rise buildings, a shaking amplification device using two layers of laminated rubber was installed under the five-story steel frame test specimen.The indoor environment of a living space and office was faithfully reproduced, and the artificial motion expected in the Tonankai and Nankai earthquakes was input into the shaking table. As a result, the danger in the system kitchen, living room, and office system, etc., and the effectiveness of the seismic countermeasures could be verified.</datacite:description>
