However, as each organization is working for different purposes, the quality of information required by each organization is also different. As a result, disaster information is not shared smoothly, and even now, 23 years after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, disaster information is still not sufficiently shared. This paper presents the current issues regarding the sharing of map information during disaster response and reports on the online symposium “Wide-Area Coordination of Disaster Information by SIP4D” organized by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) in FY2021.
