At least 8 debris flows occurred in residential areas, destroying houses and infrastructure. A large volume of earth and sand poured into the NachiRiver ,leading to the aggradation of the river bed and thus , the flooding Ichinono and Iseki(more than 3m) . Rainfall/water level data and field surveys indicate that these disasters mostly occurred late at night, from 2:30a.m. to shortly after 3:00a.m. on September 4.
