To achieve the goal, JMA radar rainfall and Automated Meteorological Data Acquisition System (AMeDAS) rain gauge data of different rain events will be used as input in hydrological model for different river basins to generate runoff for short time interval. 
HEC-HMS model was setup for Tsurumi and Tama basins. Some selected rainfall events cases were used in the model. Runoff data at different sub-basins of the catchment were generated and compared with observed runoff data. We found some differences in runoff using radar rainfall and rain gauge data.
