In addition, building damage surveys were conducted in almost all areas of the Noto Peninsula by aerial photograph interpretation. The results of the field survey revealed that in some areas of Suzu City and Wajima City, severe damage occurred, with a total destruction rate exceeding 50% for seismic intensity of approximately 6.2. It was confirmed that the damage in these areas was greater than that predicted by previous damage functions. Furthermore, when the results of aerial photograph interpretation were compiled and analyzed for each mesh, a certain correlation was confirmed with data such as seismic intensity, PGV, elevation, slope, and geomorphologic classification. Furthermore, we confirmed that damage to buildings in areas where tsunami and liquefaction have occurred is large.
