The Disaster Information Library (NIED) conducted a survey of past disaster cases and disaster materials in Saga Prefecture, including the heavy rain event of August 2019, mainly accessing information that is available on the Web. Past storm and flood damage cases in Saga Prefecture were obtained from the historical disaster event database, with 66 records from 1945 to 2008 found, which revealed that storm and flood damage have occurred in all parts of Saga Prefecture. The most notable disasters were the 1958 flood, the 7.8 flood (1962), and the July 1990 flood. The greatest damage in the history of cases that could be accessed was the flood damage sustained in 1953, in which both the rainfall and the resultant damage exceeded that recorded in 2019. Since there were no disaster cases between 2008 and 2019 and there were many disasters that occurred before the mergers of cities, towns and villages, there is only a small amount of information on past disasters on the Web, and data on disaster cases that occurred more than 75 years ago was almost impossible to acquire. A more detailed survey of the materials is needed to find out at what intervals these disasters tend to occur and the degree of damage they cause.}, pages = {37--60}, title = {令和元年8月の前線に伴う大雨災害に対する佐賀県の過去の災害情報の調査と収集}, year = {2022}, yomi = {スズキ ヒナコ and ミウラ シンヤ and ウスダ ユウイチロウ} }
