| 内容記述 | To deal with the complexity and uncertainty of disaster risk, it is important to involve diverse actors such as individuals, local communities and governments. Therefore, the Society for Risk Analysis Japan has organized a session at the Safety Engineering Symposium 2024 entitled “Risk governance after a large-scale disaster: Reconstructing perspectives.” To extract the lessons and perspectives that have emerged in disaster risk science and practice, the session covered a wide range of topics, including evacuation immediately after the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, disaster-related deaths after the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident, risks issues regarding evacuation/return and decontamination/final-disposal that arise with changes in the time axis of after the 2011 disaster, and the nature of ethics in disaster research. Research on disaster-related risks encompasses topics that have been addressed by risk science, such as pre-disaster preparedness and post-disaster response, risk assessment/management/communication, multi-stakeholder involvement, inequitable risk allocation and ethical, legal, and social issues. The session highlighted the view that deepening disaster risk science is the role of risk scientists in Japan, which has experienced numerous disasters. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
